LANCASTER, PA (ANS) -- What does it mean to experience God's touch? Why does He want to connect with us?

According to a news release, readers can find answers to these questions in Eyana McMillan's new book, "Touched With Instructions."

"The Lord's touch is more than an emotional moment experienced during a worship service or private devotional time," McMillan said, "There are purposes, changes and assignments that come with His touches."

A Bible teacher and evangelist, McMillan encourages readers to not only experience God's touch, but to learn His instructions and obey His will for their lives.

Using Biblical passages and examples on every page, the news release said McMillan's God-inspired wisdom shines through in her writings on various topics, including "Boot Camp for the Ears,"
"Homework for the Tongue" and "The Blessing of Being Second."

"My goal is to help readers understand that the Lord touches us to get our attention because there is something He wants us to do or there's information He wants to give us," McMillan said.

The news release said McMillan added, "Whether we're working on ministry projects or negotiating business deals, the Lord has the instructions that will lead us to victorious results."

"Touched With Instructions" also shows how God grants "instruction blessings" to effective leaders who remain His humble students.

According to the news release, the book includes encouragement for people weary with daily struggles, for those who are grieving the loss of loved ones, and for people overwhelmed with ministry responsibilities.

"This book also challenges us to face our own behavioral or personality shortcomings and recognize how those shortcomings affect our lives and relationships," McMillan said in the news release. "We'll learn how to overcome our faults and mature in our relationship with the Lord and with others."

McMillan, of York, Pa., is an evangelist and a member of Tabernacle Deliverance Church of God in Christ, where she teaches Bible study and Sunday school and provides spiritual guidance. She is a religion and general assignment reporter for The York Dispatch. She also is the founder of Touched With Instructions Ministries. This is her first book.
