Advent: Old and New Traditions

by Charity Singleton

Yesterday was the first Sunday of Advent, and so we begin a season of waiting and expectation. For most of us, December can easily slip into one big blur of holiday parties and gift exchanges, of decking the halls and maxing out credit cards.
Or, maybe it’s not too late to make something different of this season. We would like to invite you to consider what Advent means to you, its old traditions, its new lessons, and join us for a community writing project. Come on over to my place for a cup of egg nog and a formal invitation.
Head over to Wide Open Spaces for more.
